On July 17, 2001, Daejon Jerell Ernest Hutchinson was born to Darnetta Hutchinson and Antone Jerell Nelson. He entered into his peaceful eternal rest on Monday, October 12, 2020 at Trident Medical Center. He was educated in Charleston County School District and the proud graduate of R. B. Stall High School. He was later employed by a company installing gutters. His favorite team was the New Orleans Saints and he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.
Daejon was preceded in death by his grandparents: Harry Hutchinson, Sr. and Evon Foxworth; grandfather: Lige Simmons; one uncle: Alphonso Leonard Simmons, Sr. Those who remain to cherish his memories and carry out his legacy are his father and mother: Antone (April) Nelson, ATL, GA and Darnetta Hutchinson, N. Charleston, SC; two sisters: Essence Hutchinson (Darnell), N. Charleston, SC and Aaliyah Nelson, Ohio; and one brother: Darius Nelson, GA; grandparents: Pastor Ronald and Pastor Catherine Nelson, Ft. Walton Beach, FL.; great grandmother: Ivory G. Simmons, Summerville, SC; aunts: Melinda Hutchinson and Charesse Belins; uncles: Harry Hutchinson, Jr., David Hutchinson, Harry (Miyoshi) Nelson, ATL, GA and Gregory (Kittaya) Nelson of Japan; grandaunts: Veradell Holback, Barbara Lewis-Jolley, Geneva (Tommy) Nelson, Eliza (Timothy) Connor, Dr. Juanita Sanders, Rev.
