Your presence, a shelter from life’s storm, guiding me gently, keeping me warm. 

Through laughter and tears, you stood by my side, in every moment, your love was my guide.

Your words of wisdom, forever cherished, in every memory, they never perished.

Now as I stand, bidding you adieu, I’ll hold onto the lessons you taught me true.

Though you’ve embarked on your final flight, your love, dear father, shines ever bright.

In every star that lights up the night sky, I’ll feel your presence, I’ll hear your sigh.

For though you’ve left this earthly plane, your love within me will forever reign.

So rest in peace, my dearest dad, your legacy lives on in the rising sun.

In every heartbeat, in every breath, your love, dear father, defies even death.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mr. Curtis Edward Amis, 79, of Cross, SC. He transitioned peacefully surrounded by his loving wife and daughter at home.

Mr. Amis will be transported to Kentucky and buried in his hometown.
