Charles Will Singleton was born May 10, 1957, to the late Charles and Bertha Singleton in Manhattan.
Charles grew up and attended school in Manhattan and graduated in 1970.
Charles began his working life as a Printer before moving on to driving trucks, a role he carried with dedication and a strong work ethic. He worked for the New York Department of Traffic, and with the Department of Transportation. He was also a licensed tow truck driver.
Charles was a natural joker who loved to make others laugh, and he had a deep passion for traveling, exploring new places, and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bertha Mae Singleton and Charles Will Singleton; sons, Sean Ramirez and Jamal Ramirez; and brothers, Robert D. Singleton.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory: his loving wife, Shelia Keitt-Singleton; children, Ashanti Elliott, Shanethia Keitt, David Keitt, Emmanuel Keitt, Robert Keitt, Kimberly Knox, Jaslyn Ramirez, and Dante Singleton; grandchildren, Makayla Robinson, Jasmyn Hammonds, and Aysia McIntosh; sister, Mattie Galashaw Dixon; brother-in-law, Alfred Dixon; nieces, Desiree Galashaw, Nicole Galashaw-Sarai, Richelle Galashaw, and Lisa Singleton; and nephew, Eric Singleton, along with a host of other relatives and dear friends.
