Benjamin Frank Walters, affectionately known as “Big Frank,” was born on September 24, 1965, to the late Mary Walters Clinton and Mr. Benjamin “Pie” Clinton. He peacefully transitioned into eternal life on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at MUSC in Orangeburg, South Carolina.
Frank was raised in Holly Hill, South Carolina, and graduated from Roberts High School in 1984. While in school, he was an enthusiastic member of the football team—a sport he truly enjoyed and believed he excelled in. After graduating, Frank began working at Husqvarna, where he dedicated over 25 years of service.
Frank was the beloved only son of his late mother, Mary Clinton, with whom he shared a deep and cherished bond. He was dearly loved by his aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends. Known for his generous heart, Frank was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
Later in life, Frank suffered an accident that left him with limited mobility. Despite the health challenges and frequent hospital visits that followed, he remained joyful, upbeat, and an engaging conversationalist. He kept up with local and national news and often knew the latest happenings before others. A devoted Pittsburgh Steelers fan, his passion for the team was evident to anyone who visited his room.
Frank leaves to cherish his memory: his father, Benjamin Clinton; aunts, Annie Mae Robert of San Francisco, California; Isabella (Larry) Gadson of Bronx, New York; Marie Charles of Marina, California; Josephine Sweatman; Frances (Joseph) Moorer; Patricia (Frank) Brown of Holly Hill, South Carolina; uncle, Eddie Mack of Boston, Massachusetts; along with a host of cousins and friends.
The family extends a heartfelt thank you to his aunt, Frances Moorer, who was his tireless advocate and constant support. Your dedication and love did not go unnoticed, and the family is forever grateful.
Many of his friends did not forget him. To Jimmy Wearing, Nathaniel Moorer Jr., Altonya Morris, and others who visited, Frank truly enjoyed the laughter and conversations you shared.
The ladies at Oaks knew what he liked and made sure he was well taken care of. Special thanks to Mitzi Fuderburg, Shante Stroman, Sharon Crockett, and Yvonne Murph for all that you did to make him comfortable.
