Brother Benjamin Felder was born April 29, 1957 in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, the son of the late Elsie Smith Felder Green and the late Sam Felder Sr. He departed this life at his home
on September 2, 2024.
Brother Benjamin Felder was raised in the Longridge Community and received education in the public schools of Berkeley County. He was employed with Tideland Construction and Rogers
and Sons Construction until disabled.
In the year of 1979 Benjamin Felder married Brenda (Angie) Walker and to this union two children were born. Brother Benjamin Felder joined Canaan Christian Church at a young age. He later joined and sang on the choir. He loved wrestling, basketball, singing and hunting. He loved his family and family gatherings.
Brother Benjamin Felder was preceded in death by his father, Sam Felder, Sr.; his mother, Elsie Smith Felder Green; a brother, Sam Felder, Jr.; and two nephews, Allen Johnson, Jr. and
Deangelo Felder.
Those left to cherish his memories: his children, Benanecia A. Felder of Summerville, SC, and Benjamin (Cynthia) Felder, Jr. of Ladson, SC; his siblings, Gerlene (Robert) Jamerson of
Ridgeville, SC, Dora (Allen) Johnson of Cross, SC, Wanda (Gene) Smalls, David Felder both of Summerville, SC, Bertha Simmons of Moncks Corner, SC, Shelia Mangio, Carolyn (James)
Jackson, Eugene D. Green, Tawna (Jeffery) Myers Green, Rev. Ruby Lee (Patricia) Ray, Harriet (Donald) Lemon, all of Summerville, SC, Sylvia Garland of Ridgeville, SC and Eugene (Sandra)
Green Jr. of Summerville, SC; five grandchildren, Fabain A. Herrera Jr., Emanuel J. Herrera, Beyounce Herrera all of Summerville, SC, Benjamin Felder Jr. III and Serenity Ford all of
