You can shed tears that he is gone,
Or you can smile because he has lived.
You can close your eyes and pray that he will come back,
Or you can open your eyes and see all that he has left.
Your heart can be empty because you can’t see him,
Or you can be full of the love that you shared.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Mr. Anthony Summers, 56, of Mississippi, on September 24, 2025.

Anthony Summers, lovingly known as "Tiptoe", was born on June7, 1969, in Orangeburg, South Carolina, to the late Blondell Summers and Samuel Johnson. He peacefully passed away on September 22, 2025, at the age of 56, in Mississippi.
Anthony grew up in Holly Hill, South Carolina, where he received his education in the Orangeburg County schools. At an early age, he was baptized at Lovely Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor A.C. Wright.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Blondell Summers and Samuel Johnson; his brothers, Ronald Gilliard, Donnie Summers, Donnie Johnson, James Lambright, and Samuel Johnson Jr.; his sister, Hilda Wamer; and his nieces, Adrian Lambright and Tasha Summers.
He was a devoted father to his children, Dewayne Anthony Mack and Terrance Tyerick Mack, and a proud grandfather to De'Antae Anthony Mack and DeShawn Anthony Mack. His family and friends will always remember him for his unique spirit, his warm heart, and the love he carried for those closest to him.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memory his sisters, Debra Lambright, Dorothy Summers, and Evern Jones; his brothers, Randy (Shawquana) Summers, Jerome Summers, Joe Nathan Summers, and Larry Johnson; his special friend, Sharon Mack; along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly.
Anthony "Tiptoe" Summers will be deeply missed, but his memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
