Allen Oliver of Moorefield, W.V. passed Sat. July 27th at the Veteran Hospital in S.C. The son of Dorothy and Curtis Morris, our family consist of 16, with parents and six siblings preceding him in death. Allen joined the army in 1958, he had a medical discharge in 1960 but stayed in the reserves until 1964. Later he lived in Connecticut, working at Strafford Town Fair (A Mimi Mall) a few years before moving to Ohio where he met his wife, Aileen, they both worked at ABEX until the business closed. He was the CEO, a truck driver for Allied Atlas, and owned his own truck moving furniture all over the US for 30 years. After retirement, they moved to S.C. to be near her family, they had no children and Allen was happy to not shovel snow. However the joy was short lived as Aileen passed less than 3 months after the move. Allen is survived by 7 siblings: Kathleen White of CA., Wilde Ricci of GA., Connie Maynard of WV., Carolyn Washington of WV., Michael Morris of GA., William Morris of WV., and Larry Morris of VA. He leaves behind many nephews, cousins and friends, but most of all beautiful memories. We loved him very much and we shall miss him terribly. Allen has requested no services and requested to be cremated.
