Mrs. Laura Mae Brunson, daughter of the late Louis Baker and Annette Young Baker was born September 26, 1957 in Eutawville, South Carolina. She entered into eternal rest on December 29, 2018 at the Regional Medical Center in Orangeburg, SC.
Mrs. Brunson grew up in Eutawville, South Carolina and attended the public schools there before moving to New Jersey to live with her uncle Julius and aunt Vernell Baker. She later returned to Eutawville and met her soon to be husband Mr. Willie Lee Brunson, years later they moved to Bowman, SC.
Mrs. Brunson was preceded in death by her parents: Louis Baker and Annette Young Baker, a daughter: Veleka Baker, and a grandson: Dietrick Baker.
Mrs. Brunson leaves to cherish her memories, her husband of the home: Mr. Willie Lee Brunson, one daughter: Nicki Murray (Elijah) of Ladson, SC, a grandson: Stephen Benjamin of Ridgeville, SC; sisters: Alice Baker of Eutawville, SC, Marjorie Laval (Willie) of Vance, SC, Angela Baker-Martin (Maurice) of Leesburg, FL, and Sharonica Baker of Fort Washington, MD; brothers: Carlton Baker (Tomeka) of Fayetteville, NC, Curtis Baker of Vance, SC and Micheal Frazier of Eutawville, SC; a stepmother: Vivian R. Baker of Vance, SC; brothers-in-law: Bobby Brunson and Joenathan Brunson of Eutawville, SC, and Richard Brunson of Fayetteville, NC; sister-in-law: Diane Brunson of Eutawville, SC; a very special niece that she loved and raised as her own Tynesha Brothers (Jerome) of Harleyville, SC and two special friends: Martha Harrell of Holly Hill and Mary Smalls of Moncks Corner, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, relatives, and friends.
