Daniel Asbury, skilled carpenter and neighborhood handyman has passed away. He fought a short battle with lung cancer to which he succumbed to on December 7th at the age of 64.
Daniel had a good spirit and was always willing to help anyone that he could. He was a jack of all trades. He also has a great sense of humor and could make you laugh at the simplest things.
Daniel, was preceded in death by his sister Brenda Sue Johnson.
He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish memories three daughters: Dematria Asbury of Cross, Marquita Asbury-Heatley (Wayne) of Santee, and Monica Asbury of Vance. Six Grandchildren: Audreyana, Darrion, Aiden, J'Naia, Jakala, and Denver. One sister: Joan Phillips-Duncan (Kevin) of Maryland. Four brothers: Bruce Asberry (Rosa) and Harry Asberry (Deborah) both of Georgia, Phil Phillips (Maryann) of Vance, and William Owens (Vern) of Santee. Two aunts of Vance, Rodell Sweat and Hattie Asberry The mother of his children, Jeanette Asberry and a special cousin, Gussie Clark, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, family members, and friends that loved him dearly.
Family will be receiving family and friends at 1050 Lodge Hall Road, Vance, SC 29162.
