Mr. Clayton Allen was born into this life on July 25th, 1956 in Holly Hill, SC to the late Wade and Hager Lou Allen of Holly Hill, SC. 

He joined Briner Christian Church at a young age. He attended Public School in Holly Hill, SC where he played baseball, football, and he was an outstanding singer. 

Clayton was employed at Harleyville Builder's Supply in Holly Hill, SC and was also self-employed as a carpenter. 

He was preceded in death by his sisters: Janet Gates and Cynthia Sumpter, and brother: Butch Capers. 

He leaves to cherish his memories, ex-wife: Nancy Allen; one son: Jamel Allen; grandchildren: Jasmine, Jordan, and Jaylen of Summerville, SC; brothers: Wade Allen and Nathaniel Capers; sister-in-law's: Patricia and Eartha Capers of Holly Hill, SC and Estelle Allen of Elloree, SC; a brother-in-law: EJ Sumter; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
